SkyView Commercial Aviation

SkyView Commercial Aviation is a browser-based application designed for delivery of simple to large, complex aerospace documents to the Web and intranets. Its robust features include multi-document synchronization (simultaneous view of documents, synchronized to the nearest logical unit level), inter- and intra-manual linking, and a user friendly guided navigation with tools such as an electronic table of contents, advanced word and tail number searches, and an effectivity filter system.

SkyView also provides end-users with direct access to the most up-to-date documents and manuals, thus increasing safety and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

Key Highlights:

• Magnifier -The fully integrated ActiveCGM Viewer features a magnifier with scalable zoom that magnifies the portion of the graphic where the mouse pointer is pointing and puts it in a separate zoomed pop-up window. This makes it easy to view portions of a graphic quickly without losing perspective of the entire graphic.
• ATA GoTo and Shortcut Function -The ATA GoTo function allows users to go directly to the Chapter, Section or Pageblock of their choice, without the need to tediously drill down through the hierarchy of a Table of Contents. Users can also specify the ATA topic of interest, thereby limiting the pageblocks they need to view and shortening look-up time.
• Intelligent Graphics Capability -The fully integrated ActiveCGM Viewer features intelligent graphics capability.
• Animation -The integrated ActiveCGM Viewer component of AirGTI SkyView provides the capability to use animation for online demonstration of how to assemble and disassemble key components.
• Full, Vertical, Horizontal and Three Window Views -AirGTI SkyView provides Full, Vertical, Horizontal and Three window split views with just a simple point and click on the “View” drop down menu.
• Limiting Operation by Effectivity -The “Limit By” function allows you to limit the display of information from the Table of Contents, the “GoTo” function, “Search”, etc., to only those document units which apply to the airplanes selected.
• Searching -The Search function in AirGTI SkyView enables users to get to their search target quickly and easily. AirGTI SkyView highlights the search target, or "hit", within the TOC and permits users to navigate to other hits.
• Part Number Searches -Searching for part numbers in AirGTI SkyView is easy, particularly when you type in the alpha or numeric character to select corresponding part numbers.
• Graphic Thumbnails - SkyView allow the user to view all the graphics from the current document unit in a popup window. By clicking on a graphic title in the popup window, the selected graphic will be displayed in the main graphic frame.
• Online User Guide and Help File -AirGTI SkyView users can turn to the User Guide and Help Files as needed to help them navigate the application and use the various functions.
