SkyMod

SkyMod handles the engineering documents in the SkySuite system. The SkyMod component is integrated into the SkyDoc client to import, create, view, and maintain engineering documents. SkyMod features data integrity and version control.

Key Highlights:

• Integration with SkyManager to prevent authors from overwriting changes, to keep information about the document for reference, to view the documents in the system, and to keep an audit trial of the changes done to the document.
• Service bulletin support - SkyMod allows service bulletins in both SGML and Non-SGML format to be imported into the system, and then maintained by the system.
• Engineering order support - SkyMod provides an interface for Engineers to create engineering work orders from the service bulletins that were imported in.
• Airworthiness Directives - SkyMod maintains airworthiness directives in the same manner as service bulletins.
