SkyDoc
SkyDoc is the authoring module of the SkySuite system. It contains two sub-components: one for Document Administration functions and another for the authoring interface.
The SkyDoc Administration sub-component handles the conversion of the manufacturer's SGML data into XML and imports it into the system. It also handles the publishing of the data into our SkyPublisher and SkyView products, or back out as airline-authored SGML.
The SkyDoc Navigator sub-component allows the technical publication author to make changes to the manual and validate those changes for accuracy. It is also the interface for the changes to be reviewed and conflicts to be resolved when a new version of the manufacturer's data is brought into the system.
