Electronic Flight Bag Intelligent Data Management System
InfoTrust Group offers the first pure XML-based information management system for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) environment. The Intelligent Data Management System (IDMS) is powered by an advanced XML content server. This allows the delivery of the right information at the right time to the right person. Pilots no longer have to fumble through many key sequences to get to critical data. IDMS delivers this data in two key strokes!
Key features include:
- EFB Class 1, 2 or 3 and Online Delivery – IDMS provides the capability of delivery of large XML documents with a common user interface whether access in the cockpit or online.
- Data Navigation – IDMS provides the capability of intuitive and flexible navigation through structure trees and hyperlinks. Hyperlinks can be within the same document or across different documents.
- Personalization – IDMS provides personalization capabilities that control how the information is presented to a particular user. Personal bookmarks and notes can be loaded and saved for each user.
- Filtering – IDMS provides the capability of customization by allowing filtering based on text, Phase Of Flight (POF), and effectivity.
- Searching – IDMS provides searching capabilities including full-text search, attribute search, etc. The search shows incremental filtered result sets as each character is input. The search results can further be filtered by Manual, Phase Of Flight or personal tags.
- Graphic Viewing – IDMS supports in-line viewing of document graphics with zoom, rotate, and pan functionality. This allows visual optimization for illustrations and navigation charts.

These features, create a robust and stable environment for your flight operations. All OEM information sets can be imported and viewed through IDMS. This means a common user interface is provided to your flight crews for all fleets. Reduced training time and increased usability are key benefits of this OEM independent approach. The ergonomic features, designed by pilots, are illustrated on the reverse side.
