Development Options So you’ve reviewed the objectives of your training and discovered that it’s best taught with an instructor. It doesn’t mean you still don’t have other options besides traditional classroom training. You might not have a classroom or maybe the students are all over the world. For all of the options offered below, we can help you create the training from scratch or work with existing content. We can also deliver your training in a variety of formats and can even provide you with an instructor if needed. Here are some of the options we can help you explore: Traditional Classroom This type of training is the most familiar to all of us because it’s likely the way we were taught in school. Typically you will have both an instructor textbook and student textbook. There may also be overhead media for display. Other things you could explore would be video, audio, and hands-on or group exercises. Live Distance Learning Many online universities are using some form of live distance learning. The basic premise is the same as that of a traditional classroom, where you have an instructor with students. Again there is likely an instructor textbook and student textbook along with some other media. The difference here is the delivery. The training is typically taught through any number of internet-based delivery methods, although it is sometimes delivered by way of video or over phone conferencing. Blended The basic idea behind blended training is that you convert some of your classroom training to eLearning and offer both. If you currently have a five-day class, we can help you bring that down to two or three days by identifying what could be taught online. You can then have your students take the online training as homework or before the class. |
